Cruisin' On Main


We hope the following information will be helpful as you plan for Cruisin' 2020.


Who can participate in Cruisin' on Main Street?
Commemorating our 20th Anniversary show we are suspending our age restrictions. We are opening Cruisin' 2020 to ALL years of your beautiful show vehicles for display at Cruisin' 2020. We are especially inviting Car Clubs to attend and park as a group.

Show Car Definition

Vehicles must have a current DMV registration.

May I pre-register?
There is no pre-registration. Registration takes place on the day of the show at one of the two Show Car Entrance/Registration points. For diretions to the registration booths, see the Directions page.
Cruisin' VIPs can preregister.
VIP Vehicles will have a separate entrance - details will be e-mailed to you.

When should I arrive?
Show car registration opens at 8 AM on the day of the cruise.

Is there a registration fee?
There is a $10 show car registration/donation fee. All proceeds, after expenses, will be donated to local charities.

VIP registration is $100 with 100% of the donation being given to MARC Inc., our charity of choice.

Where do I enter the show?
There are two official Show Car Entrance/Registration points. Show cars approaching Downtown Manchester from the North take Routes 6 & 44 to Center St. to Linden St. to Myrtle St. Show cars approaching from the South take I-384 to Exit 3 to Charter Oak St. to Wells St. Look for posted signs. Show Car Entrance/Registration points are shown on the event map contained in this program.

How will I know where to park?
After you have entered the show area via a Show Car Entrance/Registration point, members of the Gear Head Mafia Car Club will assist with parking. Look for the bright yellow t-shirts.

What do I get when I register?
Show Car Drivers entering at either of the Show Car Entrance/Registration points will receive a Show Car Registration Card and commemorative Cruisin' 2020 dash plaque.

Will trophies be awarded?
Sponsor's Choice Trophies will be awarded. Selection begins at 11 AM. Show cars are reminded to complete their Show Car Registration Card and place it on the windshield of their vehicle. It is especially important to include the requested contact information on the card. You must display your Show Car Registration Card in order to be considered for award of a Sponsor's Choice Trophy. Winners will be notified via a "winner's card" placed on their windshield. Check your car frequently. You may be a winner!

Where will the Trophy Award Ceremony take place?
Trophies will be awarded on a rolling basis beginning at 2:00 PM and continuing every half hour until 3:00 PM. All trophies will be presented in front St. James Church. Trophy Award Winners are reminded to be prompt. Individual photos will be taken after each award is presented.

When should I plan to leave?
Show cars should expect to remain in place for the duration of the show. In the interest of public safety, all show cars will be directed to exit the Main Street exhibition area via the closest side street.
